Meet Our Team

Fortel Nijjer

Sat Nijjer Joined our family run business in 2005 after an illustrious career in Bear Stearns, a US based investment bank. Mr Nijjer is a major stakeholder in Fortel and holds a seat in the Walsall Economic Board through which he is actively involved in economic development of Walsall.

He is married with three children and is an avid Manchester United fan. Recently he announced successful re-certifications of various fortel accreditations.

In continuation with the above accreditation, he also announces Fortel’s partnership with Supply Chain Sustainability School. Under his leadership fortel also welcomed the Walsall Works Silver Partner Award from the Walsall Council’s. This award was a recognition for contribution and investment that employers make towards the betterment of their local workforce.

John Pilkington
 
After working 40 years in major international construction giants like Amey, Carillion and Tarmac, John joined Fortel in 2012. He is currently working as Vice chairman and provides strategic advice to a range of clients, particularly in relation to sustaining effective public private partnerships.
